What makes the UltraScreen X2 Plus the strongest screen on the market?
UltraScreen X2 Plus is made of a unique two-ply construction. Similar to the way plywood gets its strength, our two-ply layering system construction more than doubles the strength compared to other single-ply fabrics. This results in 50% less deflection, and more than two times the strength compared to other storm fabrics.
What keeps the fabric from slipping during a storm?
UltraScreen X2 Plus is made with a patented nylon strapping system which attaches to the entire length of the screen. The weakest part of most storm screen systems is their attachments. Not only is our two-ply fabric stronger than other systems, our patented nylon strapping system surpasses other mechanical lock buckles. Our patented nylon strapping system attaches to the entire length of the screen, not only on the outside ledges, for outstanding impact strength.
Does the UltraScreen X2 Plus come with a warranty?
UltraScreen X2 Plus comes with a ten year storm protection warranty. UltraTek warrants UltraScreen X2 Plus to be free from manufacturing defects and to perform as design approved for a period of ten years under conditions of proper installation, use and load. UltraTek shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, losses or injuries.
